벽에 물건을 걸기 위한 월 후크는 정리의 기본 요소이면서 또한 벽에 아름다운 디테일을 더하는 장식적인 요소가 될 수 있습니다.
투플라 월 후크가 바로 이런 기능을 지닌 디자인으로 위아래로 배치된 두 개의 고리는 서정적인 만큼 기능적입니다.
투플라는 핀란드어로 더블(double)을 뜻합니다.
분체 도장을 한 아연 주물로 마치 허공의 스케치를 입체화한 듯한 형태를 보여줍니다.

Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec

프랑스를 대표하는 가구디자이너이자 산업디자이너인 로낭 부흘렉 (1971년 생)과 에르완 부흘렉 (1976년 생) 형제는

1999년 공동으로 디자인 회사를 설립하고 20년 가까이 함께 작업했다.

이들의 작업은 액세서리와 같은 작은 제품들의 디자인에서부터 텍스타일, 조명, 가구, 건축 등의 넓은 공간 디자인,

그리고 그림에서부터 영상 및 사진에 이르기까지 많은 분야를 다룬다.

이들은 Vitra, Artek, Magis, Alessi, Established & Sons, Axor Hansgrohe, Flos, Kvadrat,

Kartell, Kettal, littala, Cappellini, Ligne Roset, Nani Marguina, Mattiazzi, Mutina, Hay 등의 선두적인 디자인 회사들과 함께 일했다.

Artek was founded in Helsinki in 1935 by four young idealists: Alvar and Aino Aalto, Maire Gullichsen,

and Nils-Gustav Hahl. Their goal was “to sell furniture and to promote a modern culture of living

by exhibitions and other educational means.”

In keeping with the radical spirit of its founders, Artek today remains an innovative player in the world of modern design,

developing new products at the intersection of design, architecture, and art.

The Artek collection consists of furniture, lighting,

and accessories designed by Finnish masters and leading international designers.

It stands for clarity, functionality, and poetic simplicity.
